The 13 prefects who attended the camp had the opportunity to learn and develop these skills, which will help them to fulfil their duties as leaders of the school.

Head of sport prefect, Savanah Dewing, shared her goal for sports this year, which is to create teams that are dedicated to their respective sports and to encourage others to join in, despite any challenges they may face.

“I play netball and I believe sport helps individuals to work as a team, especially when school gets tough, it adds to their skills that are much needed in the future.”

Mark McNamara, another prefect, mentioned that his biggest highlight at the school has been the ability to support his friends, motivate them, and always be open and honest with them.

“Cedarwood School is a place of respect and kindness and always trying to be the best that you can be and support each other, as our theme for this year is ‘We rise as one’.
