Crowthorne AH-based Midlands Primary and High School celebrated a decade of academic excellence, accompanied by a 100% pass rate feat.

The school marked exactly 10 years on November 28, at the school premises.
The school's deputy principal, Sharira Padayachy, said the journey marks a huge milestone, a moment of reflection, celebration and pride.

She said the school was established with a vision of providing unparalleled academic excellence in a nurturing environment and has since become a beacon of success. “At the heart of our celebration lies a remarkable achievement – a 100% pass rate consistently maintained over the past decade.
“This achievement is not merely a statistic but a testament to the collective effort of our dedicated educators, motivated learners, and supportive parents. From the beginning, MPHS has been committed to fostering a learning environment that goes beyond textbooks.”
She said their focus on holistic education empowers learners to not only excel academically but also develop essential life skills.
Three learners –, Quinton Langa, Junior Makatini and Pravallika Addula – have been with the school since 2014 when it was established.
The trio was bestowed with certificates and gifts for their loyalty to the school.

Padayachy said the backbone of MPHS is undoubtedly its exceptional teaching staff members who are passionate about their subjects and compassionate towards their learners.

“They [teachers] have been instrumental in creating an atmosphere where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and learning is a lifelong journey. A school's success story is incomplete without acknowledging the vital role parents play on the educational journey. We express our deepest gratitude to the parents who have supported us over the years, entrusting us with the education and development of their children.”

Padayachy said they look forward to the future with enthusiasm and optimism. “The next 10 years hold the promise of continued growth, innovation, and, most importantly, the continued success of our learners. In conclusion, MPHS's 10th anniversary is not just a celebration of the past but a testament to our ongoing commitment to excellence.
“We express our gratitude to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey, and we eagerly anticipate many more years of shaping minds, achieving milestones, and celebrating success together. Here's to the next decade of academic excellence and beyond.”
