Join Glen Austin Conservancy on their Spring month celebration at the Bullfrog Pan

Dave Allanby, GAC chairperson invite residents to come experience the peace and tranquillity of the Pan.

Following on from the commemoration of Endangered Species Day, the Glen Austin Conservancy (GAC) will celebrate the arrival of spring at their flagship venue The Glen Austin Bird Sanctuary and Bullfrog Pan situated on Belvedere and Douglas roads.

GAC chairperson Dave Allanby said residents of Glen Austin and friends of the conservancy were invited to join the conservancy team in partaking in a sundowner on September 16 from 16:00 to 17:30.

“Come experience the peace and tranquillity of the pan. Meet your GAC committee members and learn first-hand of the very real unscrupulous challenges threatening Glen Austin in general and the biodiversity of this ‘protected sanctuary’ in particular,” he said in a brief statement.

He urged residents to bring along their drinks, chairs and of course, binoculars.

If you intend to attend, kindly WhatsApp RSVP to Judy Bird on 083 266 8187.
