Busani Hlengethwa (34) and Thabiso Mthombeni (37) shared their delight in the song saying they hope it brings love to anyone who listens to it.

The Midrand-based duo, King Soul, has dropped their second single, titled Inhliziyo [Heart].

Busani “Black Soul” Hlengethwa and Thabiso “King Kwasa” Mthombeni featured Gugu Nkatha on the track released on May 26.
Speaking to Midrand Reporter, Hlengethwa (34) and Mthombeni (37) shared their delight in the song saying they hope it brings love to anyone who listens to the song. Hlengethwa said this is a love song aimed at encouraging love in people.

He also heaped praise on Nkatha.
“Its message is for couples who are in love and miss each other. In one line, there is a line that says, ‘I can’t sleep at night, thinking about you’. She (Nkatha) understood her vision and role when called into the studio session. We are very happy to have involved her in this project that is dear to us, and she brought a different dimension to it,” said Hlengwa.
The duo previously released a six-track EP Uzobona in November last year. It was then followed by another single, titled Amabonda shortly after the EP had dropped. Mthombeni said the song was a new style of music genre that they were trying to explore and see if they cannot grow in it.

He said they did not encounter any challenges compiling the single. “I hope and wish that this one can motivate lovers to remain in love and embrace love with good intentions and pure hearts.

This track resembles amapiano and I must say we joined forces to explore, and it brought out the magic in us,” said Mthombeni.
He said they will be pushing for more music and were hoping to make a music video to the song soon after monitoring the response from their fans.
