Midrand SPCA is looking for a home for a dog named Scarface.

The dog is named Scarface because of several scars on its face.
He was found on the streets of Midrand, and the community reached out to the SPCA. The organisation has been treating Scarface with love since he joined the family.

SPCA inspector Pam Pretorius said, “Scarface shows that he was previously abused, normally in our line of work when a dog has been abused it becomes aggressive, they don’t like humans.”

However, she added Scarface still had unconditional love for humankind.
He needed a loving home and families interested in adopting Scarface should know that inspections were done before it could be approved.
“We do home inspections to ensure it is suitable for our dogs,” inspector Jerry Seemise said.

The family will also be expected to cover adoption fees, vaccination, sterilisation, microchip, and post-home inspections are done.
