Even if it's only a brief smile, this Inspector has a way of cheering you up after a tough day in the field.
Midrand SPCA inspector Theo Mokgatle is a familiar face in the Midrand community as he has been with the organisation for more than 10 years.
Mokgatle has dedicated his life to the upliftment and well-being of every animal that has crossed his path.

Although he has seen many cases of cruelty and neglect, he remains focused on every victorious moment and life-changing experience for these animals.
On a tough day out in the field, this inspector will somehow find a way to cheer you up and put a smile back on your face even if it’s brief.
He does only attend to cruelty complaints, emergencies, pro-active inspections, pre and post-home inspections and follow-ups, but he also has important paperwork to complete for every single matter that he tends to and makes court appearances for cases that he is prosecuting.
As if this is not yet more than a person could handle, inspector Mokgatle also works stand-by duty for two weeks every month at the SPCA.
