Local NPO asks for donations as they plan to take out 20 children for a breakfast

Connect To Feed co-founder Swati Bhagat believes lending a helping hand has been very rewarding and motivates them to do even more this year.

Midrand-based NPO Connect To Feed will start the year on a high when it takes out about 20 children and four teachers of the Village Safe Haven orphanage for breakfast.

The breakfast will be held at Dros Kyalami on January 22.

Connect To Feed co-founder Swati Bhagat said this would be a cheerful start to the new year for the little ones. “We have arranged breakfast and games for kids of Village Safe Haven orphanage at one of the restaurants in Midrand. We are targeting R3 000 for funding it. We request the readers kindly come forward and donate to this good cause.
“We also aim to make our team bigger and better so that we can do more events and reach out to more people in need. Our Christmas Drive in Ivory Park was a successful event where we organised Christmas gifts and food in association with Food for Life and Curro School Midrand for more than 300 children.”

She also wished everyone a very happy and prosperous new year.
