Spaytember’ sterilisation drives celebrated in Midrand

Let's Spay #SA's Mandy Lu describes the Spaytember as a huge success after animal organisations took on the challenge to sterilise as many pets as possible in one month.

Various SPCAs, veterinarians and animal welfare groups conveyed in Midrand’s Waterfall Ridge for the Spaytember prize-giving celebrations.

Society for Animals in Distress and Animal Welfare Society of South Africa were some of the many welfare groups that attended the event in Waterfall Ridge, Midrand in October.

The event was organised by Mandy Lu of Lets Spay #SA to urge and propel pet lovers to sterilise their furry friends.

Mandy-Lu described Spaytember as a huge success as the nationwide drive saw many animals being sterilised in September.
