50 IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall female students attend Ladies to Legends event

Topics that were discussed included Gender-Based Violence, anxiety and depression, and how to gain a seat at the table among other topics.

The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall hosted a Ladies to Legends event on October 14 for its female students.

The event aimed to create a platform where women could make their voices heard through meaningful conversations about issues that affected them the most.

Topics of discussion were gender-based violence, anxiety and depression, how to gain a seat at the table and holistic wellness. All 50 female students that attended were encouraged to ‘rise up and be legendary’.

Kyra Zeta Roberts, Dr Dulcy Rakymakoe, Tshepiso Mabulana, Palesa Tau, and Caitlin Vinson inspire IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall students on how to rise up and be legendary.

Radio broadcaster Tshepiso Mabulana, CEO of Quadcare and social entrepreneur Dr Dulcy Rakymakoe, radio presenter Palesa Tau, and HPSCA registered counselling psychologist Caitlin Vinson and chairperson of VC Voice Kyra Zeta-Roberts all ensured that the event was legendary.

“This amazing event not only allowed for an open dialogue on issues we face as women in the country but was also a beautiful space that promoted healing and growth. Sharing views and advice for issues such as self-confidence and body positivity leave all the beautiful women with a greater sense of self,” said Tau.
