Vodacom, Samsung, and Gert bring locals an unforgettable event at Vodacom World

A collection of 42 dresses made from material Gert has stored for over three years was unveiled on the runway.

South African fashion designer Gert-Johan Coetzee along with Vodacom and Samsung joined forces for an exclusive bespoke fashion, music and tech collaboration.

The showcase took place at Vodacom World, Midrand on September 30 and was an exemplary celebration of craftsmanship and creativity with Coetzee being the headliner alongside DJ Lerato Kganyago and the soulful J’Something.

Among other exciting activities was the launch of the signature Red experience, a celebration of Coetzee’s new spring/summer 22 collection.

J’Something opened the show and performed a few of his greatest hits from both Mi Casa and his personal catalogue, which got the crowd ready and excited for what was to come next.

Kganyago took to the decks to shake up the show with lively music.
