Learners of Midland Primary and High School have been robbed of the opportunity to learn and improve technological skills following a 20-computer heist.

Ten computers were left behind after the robbery.

“Unfortunately, yes, our new computer lab has been broken into and 20 computers have been taken. On the CCTV cameras, there were two people [suspects] seen, one getting computers out of the lab and giving them to the other suspect. There was no sign of any tampering to access the school’s premises,” said Padayachy.

She added this would negatively impact the Grade 12 learners who had just completed their preliminary exams and would start with their finals soon.
