New campus launched for young learners on Heritage Day

Bright Start CEO Boitumelo Monoketsi urge parents and communities to start teaching young learners about different tribes and cultures in order to embrace them when they grow up.

Heritage Day celebrations saw parents and young learners come in their numbers, wearing different traditional attire.

Bright Start College, based in Glen Austin, Midrand, also launched its new campus in Clayville – aimed at offering educational support to learners from surrounding areas – during the celebration on September 24 from 10:00 – 15:00.

“Bright Start College is an independent primary school that was formed in 2009 and prides itself in curriculum excellence with emphasis on community development through its engagement with the communities it serves. Our pre-schools have been in existence since 1999, producing learners who are highly gifted in the creative arts and linguistics,” said Monoketsi.

She said they wanted parents to meet the teachers who look after their young ones.

Monoketsi said the main objective of this event was to educate the community about the need to be civil with each other as Africans and the rest of the world.

She said it was critical to embrace cultural differences and use them to make our continent and the world a better place for the entire human race.
