Reddam House Waterfall celebrate 10th year of education

Two charities, CHOC and SOS Children’s Villages, benefited from Reddam House Waterfall's 10th birthday celebrations.

There was a buzz of activities at Reddam House Waterfall’s 10th birthday celebration on September 3.

More than 5 000 people, parents and learners, celebrated at the school campus in Waterfall City where stalls and gaming activities such as go-karting could be enjoyed.

All the proceeds of the day will benefit two charities, CHOC and SOS Children’s Villages.
One of the main highlights was executive headmaster Quinton Pascoe skydiving in tandem to land on the sports field with learners rushing to hug him.

Pascoe hoped to see the school taking only two directions from where it was now, and that was onwards and upwards.

“We have made rapid progress and we have been blessed with beautiful facilities that we have at the school. The journey of our school and learners’ progress from the early learning, the preparatory and the college make us proud. The synergy between the three schools is outstanding and we want to continue producing good matric results, and maintain our academic rigour,” said Pascoe.

There was much excitement when radio and television presenter Anele Mdoda, who is a brand ambassador for Reddam House, made an appearance and mingled with the families during the day.

Mdoda said, “I wish the school the best moving forward and growth. I wish they can grow bigger and better from here. And also the quality of education that our learners get here is amazing. The headmaster’s bravery when he was skydiving just set a good example to our kids to be fearless.”

The birthday celebration ended on a high note with a We Give Back Concert with live performances by Dr Victor, Zebra and Giraffe, Brent Harris and Thee Jam and DJ Neal Rain, along with a fabulous collaboration with Zebra Zebra and Giraffe and the Reddam House Waterfall School Rock Band.
