Wine festival at the Kyalami Country Club sees Franschhoek blends enjoyed by community members

Community members who attended the Four Nations golf tournament got to also taste wine from the Cape in a wine festival.

During the Four Nations PGA Cup at Kyalami Country Club from September 2 to 4, a wine festival was also available for anyone to try various wines.

Free to the public to attend, different wines that ranged from red, white and rosé were available to taste thanks to the official wine partner of the PGA, Franschhoek Cellar.

Carie Christie of the company said two wines had been made especially for the golf tournament.
“We wanted to showcase the wine the Cape has to offer by setting up this festival. We had a really good turnout last night, and I’m certain we will have more people come through today as well to taste the different wines,” she said.

The Fourways Review journalist Khomotso Makgabutlane got to capture a few moments of the wine festival in Kyalami.
