Rabie Ridge police are investigating after a body of a man was dumped in Austin View, Midrand, by an unknown number of occupants who were driving in a silver car.
The registration of the said vehicle was unknown.
Rabie Ridge police spokesperson Sergeant Dipolelo Moremi said on August 23 at about 13:00, officers attended an alleged murder crime scene of an unknown man who was about 35 years old.
“It is alleged that an unknown silver motor vehicle sedan dropped him on Poodle Circle in Austin view next to plot number 50. It looked like the unknown male was beaten somewhere and dumped there,” said Moremi.
She said the man was later certified dead by the paramedics.
The man is yet to be identified as police were still struggling to trace his family.
Moremi urged anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the nearest police station or contact 08600 10111.
