Marlboro food drive aids over 2 000 people in need

The Marlboro Temple Association recently teamed up with Midrand-based non-profit Connect to Feed to distribute food packs to over 2 000 people in need.

The Marlboro Temple Association recently partnered with Midrand-based non-profit Connect to Feed to pack and distribute food packets for over 2 000 people in need.

The teams came together in the Marlboro area to pack over 2 000 food packets of instant noodles and freshly baked bread.

“We made food bags with the food items and distributed to all the needy who came in for the food,” said Connect to Feed’s Swati Bhagat.

Bhagat shares a special message of thanks to all of the volunteers that formed part of the team that assisted as well as the Marlboro Temple Association for making it a successful and meaningful event.

“A special thanks to all the little ones who helped and assisted us with their high spirits and awesome dedication.

“Lastly we are grateful to Priest KiritBhai Acharya (from Marlboro Temple Association) for assisting us throughout and presenting us the forum to help the people around.”
