Indlovu FC owner and chairman to take team on a Durban holiday after league success

Indlovu FC players, coaches and management to spent some time off in Durban to get their minds off complex MLFA season, while refreshing for SAB Regional league.

Indlovu FC’s triumph in the Midrand Local Football Association (MLFA) has prompted the team owner and chairman Siphesihle Ndlovu to take the entire team to Durban for leisure after a tough season.

Before their trip to the coast there will be a prize-giving ceremony to celebrate their top performers of the season. The ceremony will be held in Kyalami on July 30.

Ndlovu, now in his second year as the chairperson of Indlovu said, “We are ready for the regional league and I am extremely excited about the achievement, hence we [management] thought it will be great idea to have a prize- giving ceremony, just to assure and celebrate the team’s success. I believe such hard work needs to be celebrated so that all the winners can work even harder while motivating them to fight for the badge of the team on and off the field.”

A further reward is in store for the team and technical staff who worked hard to propel the team to the SAB Regional league. “Yes, we are going to Durban [in the second week of August] … for a break after the tough season we have had. “We are busy with all necessary logistics. The aim is to get everyone refreshed and ready for the SAB league as it will be even tougher stage compared to the MLFA.”

Ndlovu said he will retain coach Thato Legodi and will support him in any way he can to be successful in the regional league.

Indlovu won the MLFA senior league with a resounding 65 points.
