Curro learners learn study skills

Staff, learners, and parents enjoyed the workshop, which proved insightful and engaging.

Curro Midrand Independent School Grade 5 and 7 learners participated in a study skills workshop on May 17.

These sessions were presented by Curro curriculum manager Herman Matthee.

Matthee provided valuable insight regarding the various strategies that could be utilised when studying. On the same evening, Matthee, held a workshop for the Grade 4 learners and their parents from both Curro Midrand schools.

“The event was well attended and proved to be insightful and engaging for staff, learners and parents. It is really important for our Grade 4s to start their first examinations on a solid foundation, so we were extremely satisfied with the outcome of the workshop,” said the school in a statement.

The school thanked Matthee who had willingly accepted the invitation to work with the learners.
