Symphonia for South Africa, a non-profit organisation, calls on all Midrand residents and the surrounding areas to participate in their inaugural golf day.

The event is aimed at raising funds to improve the level of education in South African public schools.
It will be held at Kyalami Country Club on March 23.

The NPO’s marketing and communications manager Dorcas Dube urged all passionate golfers and others to advocate for quality education for every child in South Africa.

“This is the perfect way for avid golfers to spend the day working on their handicaps while contributing meaningfully to #TheFutureWeWant for our country. We encourage all participants to mingle and network with like-minded socially conscious people on the day,” said Dube.

She said the organisation wanted to develop a conscious leadership that aimed at building social cohesion, uplifting communities and working towards achieving a just society.

“Our flagship programme pairs principals with business leaders in a 12-month collaborative leadership journey. Through these partnerships, principals are supported to drive positive change in their schools that creates an environment conducive to quality teaching and learning.”

She said interested individuals as well as companies, could register to take part in this unmissable event using the link https://tinyurl.com/uz58uy6c and donations may be eligible for Section 18A tax certificates.
