Susan Van Eeden from Dreamhill Internation School shares their hopes for next year

HALFWAY HOUSE – Dreamhill International School's principal hopes that Covid-19 take a step back so they can carry out all activities in their yearly plan.

Dreamhill Internation School principal Susan Van Eeden shared some of her wishes for next year on behalf of her school.

Van Eeden said that for next year she hopes that Covid-19 takes a step back and allows them to function on a normal platform, to be able to come to school normally, teach normally and do all their events and activities for the children.

“It is quite a big constraint having to do everything in sections or not being able to do certain events that we have planned.

“We have planned a whole year of events and we really do hope that we will be able to do them. A lot of them are open-air events but we do have a few that need to take place in the hall like our science fair, spelling bee and Dreamhill’s Got Talent.”

Van Eeden said that they also want to bring in a kite event where children will come with their kites and see if they can make them fly.

She further wished everyone a happy New Year. Van Eeden said that community members should always stay positive because there was always a silver lining.

“It does not matter how dark or gloomy the day seems, just find the small positivity and always stay faithful and grateful because as long as you are, you will never be depressed.

“And if you are always grateful your days won’t feel gloomy and then you will always be able to exceed and excel by staying positive.”
