Lory Park invites the community on Valentine’s Day

PRESIDENT PARK – Join Lory Park Zoo and Owl Sanctuary on Valentine's Day.

The Lory Park Animal Zoo and Owl Sanctuary invites the local community to come socialise and spend time with their animals on Valentine’s Day [14 February].

Event organiser Robynn Ingle-Moller said, “Lory Park Zoo will be [hosting] a special, unique, never-been-done-before experience with our flamingoes. One of our little ones named Phillip, a rescue from Kamfer Dam in 2019, is strong enough now to meet and share his story. He has a new exhibit specially created for him and his new family at Lory Park Zoo.”

She added, “Meet not only Phillip our little flamingo, but have a photo taken with him too. The day will have activities for kids, lots of personal time with animals, from our wonderful cockatoos to slithery snakes and tooting owls and more.”

The prices for entry is R110 per everyone above 12, R80 for children under 12 and R50 for pensioners.
