Rabie Ridge residents called to register for Pikitup dustbins

RABIE RIDGE – Ward 80 councillor has announced that residents who did not get the new 240 litre dustbins from Pikitup should head to the councillors office to register.

Ward 80 and 110 councillors called on all community members who had not received 240 litre refuse bins to collect them.

Councillor Makgoba Pagadi said after the rollout of the bins that took place at Rabie Ridge Community Hall for both wards, they were aware that some of the residents did not receive the bins.
“Fortunately we were able to negotiate with Pikitup to ensure that those who did not receive them should be able to get them as well,” he said.
“Residents will be required to pre-register at the councillors office at corner Korhaan Crescent and Seemeeu Street from 8am to 3pm during working hours from Monday to Friday. Documents required are a copy of the applicant’s identification document and statement of revenue.”

Pagadi added that if an applicant’s property had not yet been registered in their name, the applicant would need to attain a proof of residence document at the housing office at Rabie Ridge Community Centre.
