Two suspects were arrested on 14 October for a murder that they allegedly committed last year at Klipfontein View.
Rabie Ridge Police Station, Constable Jacob Nhlongo said that on 29 September around 9.15pm they received a complaint of a murder at Klipfontein View from their radio controller.
Nhlongo explained, “Upon arrival at the scene, we found a male, aged 34, lying unconscious in the front of a room outside the house.
“When emergency services arrived the man was certified dead.”
Nhlongo said that during their investigations it was found that the deceased was at another woman’s room to propose to a woman. It’s alleged that the woman then called her boyfriend to the scene. “When the boyfriend arrived, a fight broke out between him and the deceased, the deceased was stabbed with a sharp object and he died on the spot.
“Both the accused [the man and his girlfriend] were charged with murder and have appeared in the Tembisa Magistrates’ Court.”
