Minibus taxi lands on its roof after colliding with a light motor vehicle in Waterfall

WATERFALL – Multiple people were left injured after a taxi they were travelling in collided with a light motor vehicle.


This morning, 4 March, a collision between a minibus taxi and a light motor vehicle happened on the corner of Bridal Veil Street and Pretoria Main Road in Waterfall.

According to Emer-G-Med chief operating officer Jurgen Kotze, paramedics responded to the collision and found that multiple patients were injured.

The injured patients were treated and transported to a nearby hospital. Kotze confirmed that one patient required advanced life support intervention.

Local authorities were present at the scene for further investigations as the cause of the collision is unknown.
