The Society for Animals in Distress has found a new home for their monthly book sale at the Thrupps Illovo Centre.
Spokesperson for the organisation Karin Demir said, “The Society for Animals in Distress month-end book sale is grateful and privileged to find its 2020 home, starting from 28 and 29 February at Thrupps Illovo Centre.
“Find what you read in the wide range of mint and near-mint fiction and non-fiction including Africana, arts, craft, biographies, history, philosophy, science and travel.”
Demir added, “The book selection attracts many repeat customers and book dealers, a number of which have been supporters for over 15 years.”
The book sale’s proceeds go into funding the many projects run by the organisation. The sale will take place at the centre on 28 February from 10am to 4pm upstairs and 29 February from 8am to 1pm downstairs.
