WATCH: #OkaeMolao anti-crime campaign in Midrand is a success

MIDRAND – The Gauteng Premier said 591 suspects have been arrested in the anti-crime #OkaeMolao operation in the last 48 hours.


Gauteng Premier, David Makhura along with the South African Police Services (SAPS) embarked on the #OkaeMolao campaign on 23 January in Midrand.

Makhura confirmed that a total of 591 suspects have been arrested in the anti-crime operations in the last 48 hours.

“We had an operation which I regard very successful,” said Makhura.

Social media users were pleased with the operation and shared their thoughts and ideas with Makhura.
