Summerhill College celebrates excellent Cambridge International exam results

MIDRAND – Summerhill College Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum learners achieved impressive results.


Summerhill College had some great results in their Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum.

Head of academic administration at the school Lizelle Muton said, “The Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum is renowned for the high standards of their curriculum and examinations.”

Muton congratulated the parents, teachers and learners on the results achieved in the exams.

Learners from the school achieved distinctions in the advanced subsidiary levels, which is the equivalent of Grade 12.

The top-performing learner was Claudia Nair who achieved four distinctions in English, mathematics, economics and accounting. Jamilla Da Costa Dah scored two distinctions in business studies and economics.

Karishma Munilall achieved a distinction in English while Matthew Naidoo achieved a distinction in Afrikaans.

Muton added, “Due to the nature of the Cambridge International Examinations, the final conditions and requirements to gain entry to South African Universities will be determined by the matriculation board Universities South Africa, formerly known as Higher Education South Africa.
