Metro police have taken their Buya Mthetho back to the streets by having numerous road safety awareness campaigns in parts of Johannesburg, including the inner- city, Sandton and Midrand since 7 January.
Metro police chief David Tembe said their community outreach unit visited the Sandton Gautrain Station where they shared information on pedestrian road safety.
There was also a pedestrian safety awareness campaign conducted near Bara Taxi Rank on 7 January.

The campaign also urges motorists to buckle up, to not drink and drive and be more aware on the roads.
