Police are on the lookout for two suspects who were allegedly involved in an armed robbery at a garage in Midrand on 23 November.
Spokesperson for the Midrand Police Station Matome Tlamela said the victim was driving from a nearby shopping mall and stopped at the garage on Smuts Drive at approximately 12.30pm. Tlamela said that as the victim parked at the garage, a white sedan pulled up behind them. Two armed suspects got out and rushed to the vehicle.
The suspect allegedly pointed the firearm at the victim who resisted. The suspects made off with approximately R50 000, fled the scene and are still at large. The police are currently investigating the incident.
