The learners stood outside their school with placards and signs to show their support for the movement. Spokesperson for the school Teressa Oates said, “In an environment where our children have become vulnerable, the college felt that it was necessary to draw attention to the plight that many of the women and children face in a society that has lost its moral and ethical stance.

“It is a basic human right for all individuals to feel safe in their own skin. Let us all work towards making this country safe for all its people. Let us work together to educate our sons about what the cause stands for. Let us work together to convince the government that this cannot be the norm. Let us stand together and ensure that our woman and children are not next.”
