WATCH – Ndlovu Youth Choir backs our Boks

MIDRAND – The Springboks take on Japan on Sunday (20 October) and Ndlovu Youth Choir with Woolworths teamed up to give them their support in form of a flash mob.

The Springboks are gearing up to take on host nation Japan, who have surprised many by beating giants Ireland and Scotland to see themselves into the quarter-finals by playing some exciting rugby. To give the Boks an extra boost, the popular Ndlovu Youth Chair and Woolworths teamed up to let our national rugby team know how proud we are of them and to show them our support.

Public relations manager for Woolworths, Raphaella Frame-Tolmie said the Ndlovu Youth Choir orchestrated an emotive flash mob on 12 October, singing Shosholoza, at their Woolworths store in Mall of Africa, “To help spread the gees and unite South Africans in showing that we’re behind the team, all the way.”

The Ndlovu Youth Choir has come into prominence after appearing on America’s Got Talent and making it all the way to finals. Lead by their artistic director, Ralf Schmitt, their electrifying, breathtaking performances have touched the hearts and minds of many.
