The Rabie Ridge Police Station officers attended to a murder scene on 28 September at Kanana near Rabie Ridge.
Spokesperson Constable Jacob Nhlongo said that an unknown person called the police station to report that they found a dead body.
“The anonymous caller informed us that as they were passing by when they came across the African male’s body lying in the open field behind the Zion Christian Church at Ext 5 of Kanana. When we got here, we found that the man’s hands and feet were tied up with shoelaces and he had multiple stab wounds all over his body.”
Nhlongo added that the victim is still unknown as they do not have his full identity, “We are not fully certain who the man is but after asking around we were told that he was a Zimbabwean citizen by the name of Knowledge.”
