Daycare celebrates Winter Solstice

The Little Lulu Daycare Centre in Glen Austin celebrated the Winter Solstice with a special pyjama day on 21 June.

Owner and principal at the school Lorraine Reiser said, “All the teachers and children came to school in their pyjamas and brought along their favourite

fluffy toy.”

The students spent the day in one classroom watching a movie while enjoying popcorn and Rice Crispies and some hot chocolate before enjoying vetkoek and mince for lunch.

Reiser added, “All the children were so happy that they did not want to get changed out of their pyjamas after lunch.”
