Ward 112 Councillor Madeleine Hicklin has left to represent the Democratic Alliance in Parliament.
Hicklin, who was appointed councillor of the ward in 2016, will be joining the National Assembly, with a focus on building and helping the South African healthcare system. She ranked high on the list within the party, with the option of joining the provincial legislature or the National Assembly.
