Pinnacle College Kyalami brings hope

KYALAMI – Pinnacle College Kyalami participated in shavathon in support of cancer survivors.

It was a delightful day when Pinnacle College Kyalami showed support to the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) by collecting and donating R9 889 during their yearly shavathon.

Learners and teachers expressed their creativeness by colouring their hair in bright funky colours as a symbolic gesture of supporting cancer survivors.

The Grade 12 class has a Grade 1 ‘buddy’ for the year and they have a buddy day once a term. They had a great time, spraying each other’s hair and getting to know each other better.

The school had such an awesome day as they were bringing hope to the cancer survivors.
