The police in Midrand together with the Metro police and CPF Sector 3 Crime Forum, conducted a door-to-door awareness campaign in Noordwyk, Midrand on Saturday, 23 February.
The aim of the campaign was to make community members aware of property-related crimes including house break-ins, house robberies, carjacking and street robberies.
Members issued pamphlets with relevant tips to address the crimes and interacted with the community in the area. According to the Midrand CPF, the community was happy to see more police visibility in their area.
