Tshimollo Home for Children with Disabilities receive a generous donation

KAALFONTEIN – The Tshimollo Home for Children with Disability received a generous donation from Dis-Chem.

The Tshimollo Home for Children with Disabilities started off the year on a high note with a generous donation from Dis-Chem on 16 January.

The Kaalfontein home was founded in 2016 with the aim of providing care to children with various disabilities.

Founder of the home, Lebo Tshimollo, said Dis-Chem donated a R5 000 voucher which helped them buy nappies, washing powder, blood pressure monitors and first-aid kits among other things.

Tshimollo said, “The donation will help kids living with different kinds of disability from age two to 18 years, and the adults living with a disability. It will help us run our organisation with some ease.

“We feel humbled and extremely excited about the Dis-Chem donation.”

She added, “As a founder, I believe we are on the right track but still need to improve in terms of sports.

“We would like to get volunteers that will come and help as we are in need of them, and sponsorships.”

The home has expressed its gratitude to Dis-Chem for its assistance and giving them a bright start to the year.
