Dedicated Joburg North cluster SAPS members rise up in the ranks

MIDRAND – The befitting members were promoted from the ranks of warrant officers, lieutenant colonel to the finance and administrative departments.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Johannesburg North Cluster has promoted 25 members to various divisions.

This is part of SAPS’ commitment to promoting qualified employees.

The befitting members were promoted from the ranks of warrant officers, lieutenant colonel to the finance and administrative departments.

These promotions came into effect from 1 January 2019.

Johannesburg North Cluster Commander Major General Nicholas Sithole and the cluster officers congratulated the newly promoted members. “The members have achieved new heights in their careers. They have distinguished themselves through their commitment and hard work.”

The promotions which take place once a year were across five stations in the north cluster, including the Midrand Police Station.

Sithole urged members to not waver in their dedication as they move on to a new chapter and new responsibilities that await them.
