Wellness Day brings delight to the community

GLEN AUSTIN – Bodhgayashanti Sanctuary invites everybody to come and enjoy the peaceful environment of the meditation garden.

Members of the public enjoyed a lovely day out at the Bodhgayashanti Sanctuary’s Wellness Day Fair on 9 June.

The spokesperson for the sanctuary in Glen Austin Virusha Kalideen said the organisation promoted spiritual development, community service, health and well-being. “The meditation garden is open to all religions and all diverse groups.

“It is not restricted to any particular religious groups or any specific faith. We hold many talks, healing sessions and various practices of yoga, meditation and tai chi – all encouraging us to improve our well-being.”

The meditation garden is open to the public on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.

“Everybody is welcome to meditate in the garden and enjoy the peaceful settings,” said Kalideen.
