#KeepUp: Do you know what’s trending on Twitter today? [VIDEO]

JOBURG – Take a look at three of the trending topics on social media before you miss out ...

If you have some serious #FOMO and need to stay in the loop, here’s what’s trending on social media today, 4 June:

#DeLille

Dali Mpofu, acting for Cape Town mayor Patricia de Lille, argued in the high court that the recently adopted clause in the DA constitution used to strip De Lille of her membership was unlawful. This is according to The Citizen.

Mpofu also stated that the adopted clause was inconsistent with the Consitution of the republic. He added that the DA could legally remove De Lille from her position either by a motion of no confidence or institute disciplinary proceedings.

De Lille already survived a motion of no confidence in February.

#MondayMotvation

Did you know sleep is one of the most important requirements for the body and brain to function at an optimal level? So when you’re tired all the time, your brain literally starts eating itself.

When you sleep less than the recommended eight hours, your brain is subjected to repetitive thoughts similar to those experienced by people who suffer from depression and anxiety. These thoughts decrease attention span and make people susceptible to different types of psychological disorders.

Your general alertness, brain function, memory, decision-making, reasoning and problem-solving skills are affected when you do not sleep enough.

So make a healthy sleep routine one of your top priorities in order to meet all those amazing goals you’ve set for yourself.

If you STILL need something to fire you up and get you going on this cold Monday though, here you go. Thank us later.
