All in order after attempted land grab in Waterfall

WATERFALL – Police say that the situation is currently under control.

By lunchtime yesterday, Midrand police spokesperson Sergeant Matome Tlamela said the situation was back to normal.

Workers installed Clear View fencing as the fence was damaged in the land grab attempt.

Metro police were monitoring the situation.

Public Order Police are monitoring an attempted land grab in Waterfall this morning, 27 April.

Midrand police spokesperson, Sergeant Matome Tlamela said that that by 9.30am, the situation was under control and that those who had attempted to enter the property concerned had been removed from the property.

Ria Sebetsa Security Services’ CEO Danny Maduray also confirmed that all was in order at the site this morning. He added that his team had found that the fence to the property had been broken down last night.

This comes after a number of land grab attempts in the Waterfall and larger Midrand area.
