The two suspects aged 28 and 31 were arrested for an attempted hijacking of a delivery motorbike.

“According to the complainant, the delivery man was sent to East Bone Street in Carlswald for a delivery when he was confronted by two men who had crept up on the unsuspecting delivery man while he was waiting for the client at the gate,” said Midrand police spokesperson Sergeant Matome Tlamela.

“The complainant was allegedly grabbed by the neck and strangled by the perpetrator before being saved by his colleague who had appeared from a distance for a different delivery and noticed what was happening to his colleague.”
