Best ways in which to avoid road rage

MIDRAND – The police have warned motorists about engaging in road rage.

Midrand Police Station has warned motorists about engaging in road rage activities and has offered tips on how best people can respond to, or avoid, road rage.

“On a daily basis we are receiving several cases of road rage incidents at our station, reported by community members, therefore we, as the police, have decided to address the matter before it gets out of hand,” said Midrand police spokesperson, Sergeant Matome Tlamela.

How to deal with aggressive drivers:

“If someone is confronting you for some incident that took place in traffic, simply drive away, do not get out of the car and confront them. Take the registration number if possible and get to a safer place and report the incident to the police. We will do our work.”
