A man, believed to be in his 30s, was found with serious gunshot wounds in Olievenhoutbosch on Monday afternoon.
Werner Vermaak, ER24 spokesperson, said that shortly before 5pm, paramedics from ER24 arrived at the police station where they found the man being attended to by police officers.
“It is believed that he was shot during a robbery at a nearby shop and brought to the police station for medical assistance,” said Vermaak.
“Paramedics stabilised him on scene and rushed him to a nearby hospital for further medical attention. The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting incident will be investigated.”
