Midrand ANC believes Ramaphosa will strengthen organisation

MIDRAND – ANC Zone 15 believes that Cyril Ramaphosa will win a lot of votes for the ANC in the coming elections.

The ANC Greater Midrand Zone 15 boasted that the organisation would win the 2019 elections by 65 per cent with the leadership of Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Zone 15 is one of the branches that supported Ramaphosa as the presidential candidate for the party. In May 2016, scores of ANC supporters called for Ramaphosa to lead the organisation during the launch of ‘OR Tambo Fridays’ at the Ivory Park community hall.

Secretary of the branch, Lekwane Phasha, said as Midrand Zone 15 they have begun a journey to ensure that Ramaphosa becomes the president of the organisation. “We believed in him, even before he became deputy president. Now that he is president, we believe the ANC is in good hands and going in the direction that South Africans will appreciate,” he said.

He said the people of South Africa were already responding positively to Ramaphosa’s election as president of the organisation. “This has managed to bring back the trust of the people in the ANC. We have no doubt that we will win the elections in 2019”.
