Attacq praises Waterfall Management Company for scooping international award

MIDRAND - Attacq draws inspiration from local company's achievement.

Attacq Property Company has congratulated Waterfall Management Company for winning the International Best Mix Award at the Property Awards held in London on 4 December.

“As one of the main players in the Waterfall precinct, we are extremely proud and encouraged by this achievement. This award is testament to the collective efforts of all the developers and stakeholders that have worked so hard to ensure that Waterfall is fast becoming a world class precinct,” said Attacq’s interim CEO and chief financial officer, Melt Hamman.

Hamman said since 2004, the Waterfall Management Company has been working with developers and investors to create a world class city.

“This is the first time in the history of the International Property Awards that a South African development company has won the category.”

Attacq is responsible for the commercial, retail, mixed-use and industrial developments within Waterfall City and Waterfall Logistics Hub. The concept behind Waterfall City is to create a mixed-use development in which people can work, live and play.

Developments in Waterfall City include the super-regional Mall of Africa, the recently completed PwC head office, the Gateway West building and the Deloitte head office, where earthworks have commenced.
