MIDRAND – Many families celebrated their heritage with a splash, braai and picnic thanks to Funworld Inflatables.

A day for the family as the country celebrates Heritage Day.
Funworld Inflatables hosted a Family Fun Day at the Midrand Country Club in celebration of Heritage Day on 24 September.
Midrand Country Club was abuzz with families flocking in for a great picnic.
Nandi Mlala the director of Funworld Inflatables said it was the first time the event has been hosted in Gauteng and they were pleased with the turnout.
“The event was attended by about 600 people and I am very happy because we had never hosted an event in this province before and we were not sure how it would go,” said Mlala.
“We usually offer our services for school fun days but this time we decided to create a picnic environment whereby everyone can come with their family and still have fun because there were more than enough games, food and space for all ages.”

People who attended the picnic said they were pleased with the environment and comfort because it was a good place to go and relax and take the children out to play and get wet.
