Thabo Khuduge has laid a charge of assault against radio personality Bob Mabena and his friend after the pair allegedly assaulted him on 10 September at Shaguma Garden Cafe in Midrand.
Warrant Officer Mmakgomo Semono, the spokesperson for Midrand Police Station, said Mabena was in the company of two friends – a man and a woman – when Khuduge, who was an old school friend of the woman, recognised her and approached them.
Semono said Khuduge later attempted to kiss her but she was not pleased about it. This led to Mabena and his friend allegedly assaulting him.
The police have opened a case of assault but no arrests have been made.
