South African economy out of recession but GDP growth is still too low – reports
JOBURG – It has been reported that South Africa has finally pulled itself out of the recession that has been the grey cloud hanging over the nation and Twitter is abuzz with the news.
South Africa’s struggling economy seems to have finally emerged from the recession that has plagued the country for years but a GDP growth of 2.5% is deemed too low, according to IOL.
These reports have sent Twitter users into quite a buzz and here’s what some had to say:
I will not praise Zuma's administration for getting us out of the technical #recession. We had no business being in it in the first place.
