Ombudsman helpline back online

JOBURG – After being offline for a couple of days, the Joburg Ombudsman's helpline is working.

 

City of Johannesburg residents could not get through to the Ombudsman’s helpline last week.

“This was due to technical issues which have since been resolved,” said spokesperson for the Ombudman’s, Vukile Madlala on 31 July.

The technical issues were resolved on Friday and the 010 288 2800 helpline was functioning again.

“This means that residents may approach our office, only after they have exhausted all official channels of the City to resolve disputes.”

The office is open from Monday to Friday from 8am until 5pm and is closed on weekends and public holidays. The website is currently being revamped.
